Patient Requirements

MERCY MED:FLIGHT (MMF) provides free medical air transport on a first-come, first-served basis.  To qualify a patient must:

• be non-ambulatory.
• require medical care en route.
• need to travel a great distance.
• lack the financial resources or insurance coverage to pay for a commercial air ambulance service.
• not have active or untreated MRSA, VRE, or TB.

Please Note:  Because MMF works exclusively with all volunteer crews, and is first-come, first-served, it may take from several days to several weeks to schedule a mission.
